Subscriptions, Ordering and Delivery
How does my Meat Box subscription work?
Simple, you sign up to our service and order your first box. We will then send out a box on our next delivery date, packed full of the very best fresh and cured meats, heat and eat meals and larder items. Your box will be curated by you, and handpicked by us. If for any reason you want to cancel your box you can do so at any time, no questions asked, by getting in touch at email@example.com .
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to the whole of the mainland UK as standard. If you're elsewhere in the world or not on mainland UK, please contact us for delivery information.
When do you deliver?
We send our boxes out once a month and our next delivery date can be found on the Meat Boxes page. We may sometimes have seasonal specials that go out at different times. If this changes for any reason, we will be in touch.
Do you deliver my Meat Box yourself?
For our local area we deliver ourselves for FREE. For deliveries further away, we use a trusted courier partner to deliver our meat boxes for a small fee. You can check whether you are in the delivery radius with our Free Delivery Radius Checker.
What if I’m not at my delivery address when my Box arrives?
No problem! Our delivery driver will leave your Box in a safe place until you get home. If you need to rearrange delivery for some reason, let us know (with as much lead time as possible) and we will try our best to accommodate.
What are your delivery costs?
For customers within our Free Delivery Radius we offer a free delivery service. If you're a little further away our Standard delivery is £8.00 for Mainland UK, For overseas orders please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I track my Meat Box?
Not yet, but we're working on it. If you ever have a problem with an undelivered order or any other problems with your order always get in touch at email@example.com
Can I give a Meat Box as a gift?
Yes! Just buy the product you would like to give as a gift as normal and enter the person's address you would like the Meat Box to be delivered to.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If for any reason you want to cancel your box you can do so at any time, no questions asked. Get in contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to help.
Meat Boxes and Packaging
How do you decide what goes in to my Meat Box?
When you order your first box we ask you a few questions so we know what you and your family love, and what you may not be so keen on. We then design your box inspired by ever changing British seasons and our nose-to-tail approach and pack it full of the very best fresh and cured meats, heat and eat meals and larder items . If you ever get something in your box that you want more of or something that you wouldn't want again please let us know at email@example.com
So not just fresh meat cuts?
That's right! When we ordered meat boxes in the past we were always so disappointed by the bland selection and having to deal with so much fresh meat all at once. Our Meat Boxes always have a balanced mix of fresh, cured and cooked meats, which means you get an exciting selection and the average product lasts longer making things much easier to manage once you receive your box.
Can I freeze anything in my box?
Yes. Everything that you find in your Meat Box can be frozen if you so desire. That being said, every Meat Box has great selection of different products, so that unlike other meatboxes, not everything needs to come straight out of the box and into the freezer.
Is all your food gluten-free?
No. Our sausages contain a wheat crumb but apart from that everything that you find in your Meat Box is completely gluten-free. We will ask about allergies and intolerances when you place your order and we do make gluten free sausages so you won't be missing out.
What about my food allergies and intolerances?
We ask about allergies before every order so you'll never get anything in your Box that you can't eat because of your allergies and intolerances.
How will my Meat Box be packaged?
We would love to get rid of packaging completely, but seeing as this isn't really an option, we've spent a lot of time coming up with a packaging solution that works for you and the environment, and we are always searching for more sustainable options when it comes to packaging. Currently, we package all of our products for delivery in recycled cardboard boxes, inside your box you will find a Wool Cool lining made from 100% naturally processed wool and recycled polyethylene, this makes sure your products stay protected and most importantly, cool. Your box will contain an ice pack which can be reused. You also find an information card from us and your order details on recyclable paper.
How do you package individual products?
Our aim is to use minimal packaging whilst still protecting our products during transit. Each product has an outer wrap, and a small product detail card with product information, the best before date and ingredients. For most of our products we use reusable jars, recyclable wax paper and recyclable vacuum pack bags. We are vocal to our packaging suppliers about our desire for more sustainable meat packaging solutions.
