Front of House Team Member

Lower House Farm, Longtown + Bulls Head Pub, Craswall

The Position:

This position will support the catering team infrastructure across all of our locations with a mixture of working on our bars and also running food service. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a bit of variety in their job role and also willing to get stuck in

About the role 

The role is for a front of house team member to deliver the very best food and guest experience within the pub, cabins, wedding venue and with the wider Wild By Nature Teams. Working with the best home-grown and the finest British produce, amazing beers, and wines. You will be a problem solver and comfortable working in a close-knit team of like-minded individuals.

Hospitality experiences

  • Traditional pub with dining, Private dining room, Cabins for overnight stays, Pub Garden and Fire feast outdoor dining

  • Wedding Venue with private hire options all year round

Remuneration and benefits. 

  • Part time work

  • National living wage + Tips when working at the pub 

  • Company matched pension contribution. 

  • After successful completion of your probationary period, you may be provided with a staff discount of 30% on meat products, restaurant meals at our venues (food only) and accommodation up to a maximum total value of £1000 in any calendar year. 

  • Closed Christmas period, days on which Christmas Day falls.

Chef de Partie

Bulls Head Pub, Craswall

The Position:

To manage all aspects of the menu and food production for The Bulls Head Pub and support with preparation for events at: Old Great Marlborough and Lower House Farm.

  • Fire feast outdoor dinning

The Vision

Our vision is to breathe new life into the Bull’s Head and to create the archetypal Black Mountain’s Pub Experience. What does this mean? It means a warm welcome, great food and drink and a cosy, rustic environment in which to enjoy it. To achieve this we have to excel in every level of food, drink, service and venue so that every single guest, whether a passing walker who stops in for a quick drink or a guest who has travelled down from the city to spend a weekend with us feels the same sense of enrichment when they leave. We hope to re-establish the pub both as a community hub and as a destination dining experience that is welcoming to all. 

Remuneration and benefits. 

  • Minimum 48-hour week

  • Salary + Full Tronc

  • compressed four day working week with statutory leave entitlement 

  • Company matched pension contribution. 

  • After successful completion of your probationary period, you may be provided with a staff discount of 30% on meat products, restaurant meals at our venues (food only) and accommodation up to a maximum total value of £1000 in any calendar year.

Kitchen Porter

Bulls Head Pub, Craswall

The Position:

To maintain all aspects of the cleaning in the kitchen, bar and all back of house areas and cabins at the Bulls Head. Supporting the wider business when required.
